Old Mother Hubbard

Good times this weekend! The cupboards are pretty much empty now... sorry Joe... no soup for you! Never have I had so much fun, never have come so close to being deaf... thanks Andrew! (never sit beside Andrew at a party.) And Erin was very precious with her game of 'Everyone say why you love Bev' game!!! Quite embarrassing but thanks anyways friend! And for the rose... it's excuisite!!!
I think it will be harder than I thought to leave you all. But I promise to return soon... with chocolate! You guys are some of the best friends that I have ever had. Thanks.
I found an old song that I came across in college and I had typed out the lyrics because I liked it so much. Here's a little snipet...
Understand that friends come and go, but with the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in goegraphy and lifestyle, cause the older you get the more you need the poeple you knew when you were young.
Thanks guys for being my precious few...

Hi Bev,
I learned about your blog from Aunt Lisa this week. Glad to hear you have arrived safely. I have passed your blog address on to your Grandparents in Edmonton. They might just send you a note soon.
I am heading to Johannesburg on Friday via London to catch up with Monique. Maybe I will get the BUMP to 1st Class too.
Good luck in Switzerland and MERRY CHRISTMAS from Monique and I.

Hi Bev,
Good that you arrived safe, will you be taking up skiing? Lisa will be here on the 15th. We are looking forward to her visiting for three weeks. She has a full schedule already for the 3 weeks.
Gramma is at work, still. We have a welcome home party for her with 18 or 20 Clarkes.
Hope all goes well and do have a very Merry Christmas.
Uncle Stan has been having problems lately, ie 5 bypass's, infection and a coma for a week, then a stroke, now in the rehab, I guess thats enough for one guy ehe?
Love Grampa
