Feels like home to me...
... Feels like I'm on my way back where I belong.
Many thanks to Chantal Kraviazuk for that line!
K, first things first... dang hard trying to get used to an American keyboard again! So Dan, please forgive any typos!
Wow... so I'M HOME!!! Had the best welcome party ever! 15 of y'all showed up and it was the greatest time. Mainly because I got to talk to EVERYONE in English, and every joke was funny!!! Nice to be able to be a part of every conversation once again! What a great time!
The jet lag isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Although I did wake up at 0530 this morning looking for some breakfast! Took a pill and went back to bed for a few more hours! Feel better now...
Well, I'm still in the middle of trying to clean and get things unpacked and in some semblance of order, so this will be short. Oh, yeah... got to vote today too... should get around to that soon.
It has never felt so good to be home and thanks to my 'precious few' (minus Erin... miss you terribly girl!) for coming over for a shindig!

Hey my little Sister.
I see your home again, and you feel great.
öhm is that thing working, even if i dont have a log?
I guess i try :-)
And i guess you know who is writing this :-)
Who ??????
Hey Bev!!! Welcome home!! I'm so glad your home. Who would have thought you'd be calling PEI home someday..it's great!
I hope I get to see you before I leave. I'm going to do some laundry at Tracey's tonight for awhile, as well I'll be home packing for some of the night too. And tomorrow I'm going to mom's for some of the evening as we're heading to Moncton right after work on Thursday. Let me know when you want to hook up and we'll work something out.
Talk to you soon.
It is great to have you home. Your presence was missed by everyone for sure and your party gave me a chance to make perogies for the first time! (oh and by the way, i didn't use any of your food to make them except for a tablespoon or two of margarine, just so you know)
Wikommen in Kanada, Bev. Ich kann sehen dass .... nahh, I won't do that to you and write it all in German!
I can see you are happy to be home! I hope you have great memories of Zurich. Hope your transition goes well there in PEI and that when you make it to Ontario, you drop by KLBC!
Ciao, Bill
Welcome home, Bev! As nice as it is to go away, there's something so awesome to coming back home...
No worries, Sarah! The perogies were awesome!!
Thanks, Bill... German definately isn't my strong point!
Would have liked to have seen you guys while we were in Halifax but I was eager to get home... hopefully you make it over before the baby is born!
So Bev, is this the end of your blog? or will you be keeping us posted on all the exciting things that happen on PEI....like.....you know.....like......dan.....uuuh
Now THAT sounds like a fantastic idea for a blog, Shawn!!!
I mean, clearly we're all tiring of Bev's day to day life, and especially since she's now in PEI, things are sure to take a turn to Boringsville... So focussing her attention to me, writing all the fascinating details about my life is sure to renew the interest of the readership here...
Bev, Survivor starts next Thursday. Is you in or is you out?
Danno
I's in!!!! See you tonight!
Shawn... I think I'll keep it up, but not post as frequently, you know, since I only get to see Dan once a week and all!!! So be prepared for a change in the tone... more rudeness, fulgarity, spelling mistakes etc, etc.!!
Welcome home, Bev! Was your job just on hold while you were away? Our news? We had our baby on Tues, Jan. 24! Her name is Aria Grace- she's 7lbs, 20 inches and looks a whole lot like Lael did. Dennis is seriously outnumbered here...
Another beautiful girl... am I surprised?!?! Congrats! Hopefully I'll get to see her before she can walk!
Congrats Eastons!! Are there any pics of the little lady?
Bev, I am hoping your blog continues. There are many of us in Ontario....well Valerie and I...that read your blog, and would like to see and hear all about what's going on in PEI....and you of course.
I just figured Dan would be a good "poster-boy" for Ontario-PEI relations, seeing as he has bucked the trend and moved Eastward, instead of most who move Westward.
Those of us who are still stuck in Ontario need a good reason to kick ourselves every now and again, as we wonder why we ever moved away from PEI. Your blog could fill that void in our busy urban lives. Sound like a plan?
I MISS YOU. i am going to call you immediately. i wasn't sure you were home. but now i know. love you loads.
love erin
